                    After having in a first time directed my research in kinetism since 1973, I gradually got close to minimalism, at the end of 1990.
                    I left the colored reflections of my former relief paintings. I only used light as a material in my new sculptures called " Directed voids ". These ones are black simple volumes made of ply wood, bored with fluted or smooth cylindrical holes regularly oriented according to a geometrical organization.
                      The first sculptures of that kind do not show relief out of their surface, recent ones are crossed with PVC tubes.
                        My present work nevertheless keeps some links with kinetism, light in the sculpture holes produces effects and creates always changing shapes according to the on lookers moving and the position and intensity of light sources. 
  The aim, the key of my work, is to move between the three poles that are kinetism, minimalism and conceptual.
